What does a thermal inspection reveal?
It shows temperature differences that may point to faulty cells, diodes, disconnected strings or dirt. The final diagnosis is made in the field.
When can the inspection be carried out?
While the system is running and irradiance is sufficient. The IEC TS 62446-3 standard requires at least 600 watts per square metre.
